Here we have my Dutton, sadly up for sale. Due to my ongoing health issue.Based on Mazda X5 1.8 engine, brakes and running gear. Proper old school wind in your hair motoring!- You'll find no stainless bling sidepanels etc on this old beast-, no safety features – expect the seat belts and roll bars, as a kit car should be! She's basic- which I love- runs and goes well and will- as they all do, be subject to further tinkering-though is quite/very driveable as is. In my ownership I added new cross seat belts, fire extinguisher, wrapped the exhaust, better mirrors and new extra bonnet catches on the wings etc. Tyres are fairly old, but plenty meaty- though please note the fronts do seem to lose about 10psi over 3 days- so will need re-seating, I suggest.Not registered as tax exempt- yet, and is based on a 1983 kit so will be. EML light stays on, however if you register Her as tax exempt it doesn't apply- and doesn't effect how She goes. Great for belting around the back lanes especially ;)Lets you embrace your inner 'Terry Thomas!Speedo doesn't work (just used my phone on jaunts out) ditto temp gauge, though leccy fan works spot on and no signs of overheating. Oil and fuel gauge do work.Selling, as I cannot drive for the foreseeable due to a brain tumour/seizures, and my Wife who kindly has to drive me everywhere, is finding it a struggle getting in and out due to Her own historic knee an hip issues- otherwise I'd keep Her ( the Dutton that is)So there you go-good old visceral driving, a breath of fresh air from the souless, EV SUV's that are taking over the roads!She's in Aslacton, Norfolk- about 15 miles South of Norwich.Bank Transfer preferred please.
