Advert description
2008 BMW 120d Convertible – Estoril Blue – Beige Leather – 103k – 12 Months MOTUp for sale is my 2008 BMW 120d Convertible, finished in Estoril Blue with heated beige leather, sitting on 18” MV2 alloys. It’s covered 103,000 miles and will come with a full 12 months MOT.I bought the car and, as usual, somehow turned “I’ll just tidy a couple of things up” into replacing/fixing half the car 😂 So quite a lot has been done recently:* 4 x brand new tyres* 18” MV2 wheels* New brake discs & pads* Oil & filter change* Air filter* Pollen filter* Air-con re-gassed* DPF cleaned* Swirl flap delete* EGR delete* New boost pressure sensor* New exhaust pressure sensor* Oil filter housing gasket replaced* ABS sensor* PDC control module* Roof pump* Heater controls* Centre vent* 3rd brake light* New mats* New aerial* Apple CarPlay radioThe electric roof works as it should, so on the three days of summer you can actually make the most of it. 😎☀️Mechanically it drives really well and the 2.0 diesel makes it a surprisingly sensible convertible — good on fuel when you behave yourself, and plenty of shove when you don’t.Now for the honest bit…The paintwork isn’t fantastic. It’s a 2008 car and it has picked up its share of marks over the years. And yes… the bonnet needs colour coded (she’s a cat N). 🤷🏻♂️😂It also has a small oil drip from the sump gasket. I bought a new gasket with every intention of doing it, but apparently my enthusiasm for replacing BMW parts does have a limit 😂. I never got round to fitting it, so the new sump gasket will come with the car.I could sort the paintwork and the little oil leak and pretend none of it ever happened, but I’d rather advertise the car honestly and price it accordingly.Inside, the beige leather looks great against the Estoril Blue and the CarPlay unit brings the interior nicely into this century.Overall, it’s a good-looking, well-sorted 120d convertible that’s had a decent amount of money and time spent on it recently. It’s not a concours garage queen, but it is a cracking usable convertible that’s ready to enjoy.103k miles | 12 months MOT | 4 new tyres | New discs & pads | Electric roof | CarPlay | MV2’s
