Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive only, it rockets from 0–60 mph in about 4.3 seconds, a little quicker now with the undersized pulley. This example has the speed pack, giving it a top speed electronically soft-limited to 174mph. It's known to be a 200mph 4 door saloon with isofix (with top tether!) that can carry 2 spin seats and a boot big enough to carry 2 prams with enough spare to fit the paraphernalia associated with kids and a weekend away.It's main competition was e60 era M5 and e55 AMG. With reviews showing they were very comparable, but the XFR was more expensive as a base model yet carried more spec. With the M5 being slightly faster on track and the xfr being better on the road with its continuously adaptive shocks.Spec:-Nov 2013 Jaguar XFR in stratus grey, 20" novis wheels, 8 speed zf8 8 speed gearbox, with the later cam chain.-Heated and cooled 18-way adjustable front seats in warm charcoal soft grain leather. With 40/60 split rear seats-High end Meridian 825W sound system with OEM boot sub.-Auto HID lights, wipers and darkening mirrors-Dual climate control and heated windscreen. -Spec'd new with no radar, no tyre pressure sensors, no rev camera for its 1st owner, a manager at bromwich jaguar who wanted a fast, yet reliable car. Which he owned for around 9 years.
