Left Hand Drive 1981 Mk1 Golf GTi Convertible in Met Grey with chequered Black and grey seats. The log book says Convertible so we know its the GTi model but it has the 2.0 MK 1 engine so it drives beautifully and nice amount of power but its the sound, it sounds old, it sound classic. The car drives beautifully with only 80,000 miles. I have previously advertised it with 130,000 miles but its in Kilometers so its only covered 80,000 miles. It is Polish registered and we are just getting the Certificate of Conformity from Volkswagen head office so there will be no duty to be paid in Europe. The paintwork is excellent for a 45 year old car, it has a new Black hood, new Alternator and battery. This car needs no MOT or Road fund license if you wish to use it here so its a great fun car for the UK or Europe. Everything works, the gears and clutch both work perfect, the roof drops down neatly and seals correctly. All the seats are in the original colours. The exhaust has been changed to give the car a great sound but the main thing is the drive, its just wonderful. The paintwork has a couple of very small marks and you could spend money to make it concourse if you require but its in good enough condition to use as an every day car. Please call for a test drive Mike 07757 381357
