It developed a problem under load where it would misfire/lose power at approximately 2,900 rpm, although the engine would rev beyond this when stationary. The car has been investigated by a garage, including checks relating to the turbo/air system. During the most recent investigation, some metallic material was noted in the oil filter. They advised me, as a preventative caution, not to start or continue driving the vehicle pending further investigation. This car is bought as seen with no warranty given or implied. The car has not been started since the garages advice. The engine has not been stripped or internally inspected and the precise cause of the fault has not been established. Rather than spend further money investigating a car I have decided to replace, I am therefore offering it complete as a non-runner / spares or repair vehicle for someone with the knowledge or facilities to investigate, repair or use it for parts.
