Advert description
The time has come to sell my beloved 335i.It's wanted for nothing until the last few months, when a minor scrape (I was stationary as someone cut across me) scratched the bumper. No recorded damage… I had every intention of replacing/repairing the bumper before buying a new car. It's stage 3 (420HP/600Nm) with all the usual upgrades (6 x index 12 injectors, brand new when fitted 2 years ago), 6 x new plugs last month, 6 x coil packs (new 2 years ago). Decat downpipes (retains back cat's for legal/emissions reasons) and flies through MOTs every time (see for yourself). It's been a very reliable car over 6 years; letting me down only once when the starter let go. New OEM replacement fitted and it's been fine ever since.Good points:Very, very powerful.Uprated discs/pads all round.DownpipeMHD/xHP tuned, both engine & gearbox.6 x index 12 injectors6 x one-step colder iridium plugs6 x OEM coil packsTiming chain replaced 12 months ago, good for another 100,000 milesOil filter housing gaskets done 6 months agoRocker cover gasket replaced 12 months ago (BMW original)No rust anywhere.Full service history with local garage, was maintained by BMW prior to my ownership… so quite a healthy history in a large file.Seat bolsters have very little wear, seats otherwise immaculate.Never smoked in.Fully mopped/polished twice with a healthy amount of clearcoat left across the car, measured by a local professional detailer.Bad points:It's a 20yr old car.The paintwork is remarkable for its age, but it does have a few chips (pictured) which need touching in.It's also an N54 BMW… so oil leak / not excessive 8.4.1ai is par for the course. Nothing major, but I'd rather be honest. There's a ground fault on the driver's seat which causes the heated seats/electric seat motor not to work. It's clearly a broken wire somewhere, but needs tracking down. The bumper needs to be repaired/replaced unless the damage doesn't bother you.I suspect it needs a HPFP too, so budget £450 if you want it perfect. It's not driven hard, so I wasn't aware of any issue until I swapped the plugs and checked for ghost codes… which revealed slight misfires. When drive…
