Volvo 960 3.0 Saloon Auto Petrol AutomaticThis beautiful Volvo was owned by my late father and was very much his pride and joy. He owned the car for approximately 23 years and cared for it meticulously throughout that time. Sadly, we lost him in 2021, and I have owned the car since. Due to space and the difficulty of giving the car the attention it deserves, I have made the difficult decision to sell it. I simply cannot bear to see it sitting without being properly enjoyed and cared for, and I genuinely feel it would be perfect for an enthusiast who can appreciate it for what it is. My father was mechanically minded and loved spending time tinkering with the car, maintaining it and, perhaps most of all, keeping it exceptionally clean. It was serviced annually during his ownership using OEM parts wherever possible, despite covering very little mileage. In recent years the car has seen extremely limited use, covering approximately 200 miles over the last five years. I am not mechanically minded myself, but I am aware of a couple of points that a new owner should know about. The exhaust back box has a bracket that has come away, which results in a slight rattle, and the battery no longer holds its charge particularly well, which is perhaps unsurprising given how little the car has been used. There are also a few subtle additions made by my father over the years, primarily some LED lighting upgrades. The car starts and drives beautifully, and the engine sounds fantastic. However, it currently has no MOT, so it cannot legally be driven away and appropriate collection or transportation would need to be arranged. More than anything, I would genuinely love to see this car go to a good home. Finding the right person to look after and enjoy it is far more important to me than simply achieving the highest possible price.
