I'm offering my 2005 Porsche 911 (997.1) Carrera, finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with black leather. Tiptronic S automatic, 3.6-litre flat-six producing around 321bhp. The odometer shows approximately 97,700 miles and MOT is valid until June 2027. The most significant point is the engine. The car underwent a comprehensive engine rebuild by renowned Porsche specialists Ninemeister, commencing 7 October 2024, at a documented cost of approximately £15,500. The work included removal, complete strip-down, inspection, full rebuild and reinstallation, together with recommissioning. The rebuild is complete and documented in the history file — a substantial recent investment that removes the engine question that hangs over many 997s of this era. The wider history is equally strong. The car was serviced by Porsche Centres Leeds, Kendal and Chester between 2007 and 2015, supported by the original service book, invoices and correspondence from Porsche Centre Chester. Subsequent maintenance has been entrusted to respected independent Porsche specialists including Cath Burrows, with documented work including coil packs, tandem vacuum pump, front shocks and suspension components, water pipe replacement, cooling system work, brakes and routine servicing. A March 2021 invoice from Ninemeister totalling £3,758.36 documents a minor service and inspection, steam cleaning, Waxoyl protection, refurbishment of all four brake calipers (finished red with white Porsche script), new brake flexi hoses and pipes, new battery, brake fluid service, four-wheel alignment and leather refurbishment of the steering wheel and handbrake. More recently, an October 2025 invoice from Chester Automatic Transmission Centre records servicing of the Tiptronic transmission.
