SPARES or REPAIR. NO time wasters please.Registration Number: NJ65 RPY, 161k miles Bought this car from Copart – described as having a cracked piston – non runner.Fitted a new (used) engine, with new Timing belt, water pump, EGR valve. Also new discs and pads all round and 2 new rear callipers. 4 good tyres. New clutch and flywheel.The engine runs great, but the car has electrical faults which we can't get to the bottom of. Looks like at least one module is faulty.The engine runs good, but battery does not charge (it's not the alternator), some dashboard lights do not illuminate. OBD2 does not connect to the ECU.
