We have owned the vehicle since 2018 and it is now being sold as we no longer have any use for it.The car has been off the road since approximately December 2024 and is being sold in its current condition as a project / spares or repair.Mechanical Condition / Please ReadThe BMW was last driven in early December 2024. Around the time it was taken off the road, an “Engine fault – Drive moderately” warning appeared on the dashboard. The cause was never diagnosed.The vehicle was still able to be started after it was parked and was periodically started while standing. After remaining unused, the battery eventually became completely discharged and the car has now been off the road for approximately 20 months.The bonnet has now been opened and a heavy-duty booster pack was connected using the vehicle's under-bonnet jump-start terminals. When an attempt was made to start the vehicle, it powered up and made starting noises, but the engine did not start.The main battery is located in the rear of the vehicle and has been fully discharged for an extended period, so its current condition is unknown. No direct test of the battery has been carried out.A visible auxiliary/drive belt under the bonnet also appeared cracked/deteriorated, and a possible charging/alternator issue was suggested. These have not been professionally diagnosed or confirmed.The vehicle previously displayed an engine-fault warning and its current mechanical condition is unknown. I therefore cannot confirm what repairs will be required.It is being sold strictly as a NON-RUNNER / PROJECT / SPARES OR REPAIR and will need to be recovered by the buyer.Last recorded mileage: 152,012 miles (February 2024 MOT).The bodywork and black leather interior present very well for the age and the car has recently been thoroughly cleaned.
