Fault codes point towards the intake VANOS system (fault code 287E/2885/P0341 depending on the scan tool). I've checked timing, fitted new sensors and solenoid, and monitored live data, but I simply don't have the time to investigate further.There are also a few age-related marks as you'd expect from a 19-year-old MINI.This would suit:A MINI enthusiast.Someone who knows the N14 engine.A mechanic looking for a straightforward project.Or someone wanting a cheap Cooper S with potential.The car is sold as seen with no warranty implied.
