Advert description
Reluctantly selling my 2004 MINI Cooper 1.6 petrol (R50) as I’ve recently upgraded to a Cooper S R53.Comes with 12 months MOT.Currently on 102,000 miles and has been my daily car. It’s been well looked after during my ownership and has had a lot of mechanical work carried out recently. I’ve got receipts/invoices for the parts and work that’s gone into it.Recent work includes:Both front wheel bearings replacedFront left driveshaft replacedTrack rod ends replaced4 brand new tiresNew discs and pads all roundWheel alignment/balancing carried outGearbox and engine oil changedRear handbrake cables replacedABS sensors replacedVarious other maintenance throughout my ownership. It’s also had a few tasteful modifications:JCW front bumper4 front spotlightsK&N performance cone air filterToyoSports stainless cat-back exhaust Dechrome exterior detailsJCW bonnet stripesBlacked-out interior with custom-painted trimAmbient interior lightingBlack suede-effect roof liningCarbon-fibre wrapped steering wheel trimAftermarket metal gear knobThe car starts, runs and drives well and has been used regularly. Engine bay is clean for its age and it’s a really fun little car to drive. There is currently one warning light on the dash for the brake pad wear sensor. The rear-left sensor needs sorting — I tried replacing the sensor but the connector on the car side is missing, so it will need repairing/replacing. This does not affect the operation of the brakes. I do have the sensor for it which will come with the car. Happy to show the dash from a cold start.Bodywork is presentable but please remember this is a 22-year-old, 102k-mile car, so there are age-related marks/scuffs around the bodywork. I’ve tried to photograph it honestly rather than hide anything.Private plate has been removed and the car is now back on its original registration shown in the photos.Only selling because I’ve bought another MINI and can't justify keeping both.Viewings welcome.Happy for anyone genuinely interested to come and have a proper look around it.No swaps.
