For sale is my 2008 BMW 125i SE Coupe Manual, which I’ve owned and enjoyed for the past two years. The only reason for selling is that I’m looking to purchase something newer.The car has done 113,000 miles, It has been well looked after, and has benefited from a number of upgrades and maintenance, with receipts available for the work carried out.Specification & Upgrades* 2008 BMW 125i SE Coupe (E82)* 3.0L Naturally Aspirated Straight-Six (N52)* 6-Speed Manual* 113,000 miles* ECU tuned to 130i specs* Premium Eibach lowering springs fitted* MOT June 2027* 2 Genuine Vanos solenoids fitted* Interior is in good condition* Rocker cover replaced* Receipts for maintenance and upgrades included* Bodywork is generally in good condition aside from the panels mentioned belowThe car also comes with additional panels that I have already purchased:* Two replacement front wings in the correct colour, ready to fit.* Genuine BMW E82 M Sport rear bumper in the correct colour, also ready to fit.* Original wing mirror covers and kidney grills also included if wanted. The current front wings have a few dents and chipped paint, which is why I purchased replacements. The rear bumper has some chipped paint, but the genuine M Sport bumper included with the sale is ready to be fitted.Mechanical ConditionIt has recently developed a misfire at low idle, making the idle slightly rough. However, once the engine is under load, it drives well without any noticeable loss of power.To investigate the issue, the following maintenance has recently been carried out:* New spark plugs* Fresh engine oil and oil filter* VANOS filters cleanedDuring inspection, it was noted that the previous oil filter had collapsed and there was a shimmer in the engine oil. Without stripping the engine further, they were unable to determine the exact source. It was recommended that the engine would require further investigation and, depending on the findings, could potentially need replacing.As the exact cause of the fault hasn’t been confirmed, I would recommend the car is collected on a trailer rather than driven away. For the same reason, I won’t be offering test drives, as I’d prefer to avoid causing any furt…
