Honda CR-V 2.2 i-CTDi EX 2007 Diesel 4×4 Manual Spares Repair Suspected TurboHigh-spec EX model being sold as spares or repair due to a suspected turbo fault. The turbo had been noticeably whistling for a couple of weeks beforehand. When accelerating, there was a noticeable pop followed by loss of power and black smoke from the exhaust, and the red oil warning light and engine management light came on. I stopped using the vehicle and had it towed back home rather than continuing to drive it. Based on the symptoms, I suspect the fault may be turbo related.Prior to the fault, this was my daily driver. It has not been started since, as I didn’t want to risk causing further damage. The fault has not been professionally diagnosed, so I cannot confirm that the turbo is definitely the cause or what repairs may be required.The car is in good overall condition for its age and mileage and, as you can see from the photos, still presents well. Naturally there are age-related marks/wear consistent with a 2007 vehicle.Mileage: approximately 215,000 miles.MOT expired 27/01/2026.V5C present and in my name.
