For Sale: Golf MK4 V6 4Motion Silver.I Bought this car from a work friend’s dad (I work as a mechanic at BMW) who has stopped driving due to ill health. He’d owned if to over 10 years as his daily driver. It had no MOT and had been sitting in his garage for a few months (see MOT history)I put it through the MOT strait away. It needed a CV boot, drop link and a track rod end, all of which have been done. I then drove it for a week or so to make sure it was properly sorted before deciding to move it on.I also serviced the car (oil and pollen filter) and replaced the oil pressure sensor (common fault), along with this I replaced all the corresponding gaskets (oil filter housing to block and oil cooler to filter housing) this has addressed the oil leak on the MOT as well.Car has full provenance and the service book has documented services up to 2018 (98K). After that the previous owner had the car serviced with each MOT by his son (also a BMW mechanic) but didn’t keep any records.The car is also Completly stock and unmolested, not many left in this condition.It has Hankook tyres on the back and Goodyear’s on the front all with around 5mm of tread.The car comes a high spec including the following factory options;1. 6 CD changer2. Heated leather seats (Fantastic condition – Still has the VW leather smell!).3. Winter pack – Windscreen washer level sensor, headlight washers and heated washer jets). All working4. Wood trim and a roof spoiler.5. Ice cold air conI have two keys and v5 for the car.This is the later version with the much better BDE engine with variable valve timing.
