Hi, my name is Ade and I love HIACE, I bought this for a friend who wanted a camper like mine but his plan has now changed, if you are looking at this you will know of the legendary bulletproof drive train these vans have, what normally kills them is rust, I searched a long time to find one with bodywork as good as this I have cleaned and polished it and have addressed a couple of rust spots, it has 110,000 on the clock and starts fine without any smoke, cambelt and tensioner have been done at 80k, it has service history up until 2021 since then it has averaged 2000 miles a year, log book in my nameIf I was to keep this van I would change the filters and rust proof the underneath.I'm sure you could find a cheaper van but you would be forever chasing rust repairs.I love my HIACE and drive it almost every day.
