Advert description
PLEASE READThis Polo is listed strictly as a running and driving spares or repairs. I purchased it with the intention of swapping the engine out for a VR6 but plans changed and now im just clearing my yard. The previous owner is a friend and she ran the car since 2021 and its only as of recent i took it off the road to work on. It still runs and drives but the engine is very tappy. My friend says it sounds like lifter tick, but i wouldnt know. Could be an easy fix for someone who wants a decent specced up motor. Overall its a very nice car. It has the Optional Xenon Pack fitted Very rare* (These are selling for 700 on their own if you actually find them), R line bodykit and Interior including flat bottom wheel, alcantara seats and piano black panelling.Vehicle- 2013 Volkswagen Polo R Line 1.2 TSI PetrolNotes- It was a category car early on in its life, but theres no signs of that damage as it was non structural and has long since past many many more miles just fine. I could quite easily break the car for more but id rather shift it and free up the space for other projects. Mileage- 132kInterior- Is a bit tatty but would clean upExterior- Body is solid, all colour matched, the only damage is the front bumper where she hit a tall kerb, ive checked it over and it hasnt caused anything underneath to break. The other thing, is the windscreen does have a large crack through it, again she's driven this with it for a while, its on the passenger side so not in drivers view and wont fail on mot.Other- So like i say it does run and drive and theres nothing stopping you coming and driving it home. However, it does have a weird issue where if you go over 2000 rpm it throws up an oil pressure low light but then if you turn it off, it leaves until you go above again. Ive been told by her its always done it and its a dodgy sensor and checking underneath, it is absolutely caked in oil. But ive driven the car as it is and it will do 60mph fine if you're gentle. But i wouldn't advise it going far. Im quite firm on the price, but i am also open to swaps if its interesting enough. Projects included. Something Japanese possibly?Attached below are the links for salvage…
